According to the below infographic from Wilson Electronics, 90% of Americans owned cell phones in 2009, as opposed to 30% in 1999. And while that seems like a staggeringly high percentage of the population, it actually pales in comparison to the number of cell phones per person in some European, Asian, and Middle Eastern countries.
